Violet Miron Glass Bottles

Our formulations are housed in violet miron glass bottles. This patented glass blocks out visible light protecting the product from decomposition while improving the durability and shelf life.

Shamash Antioxidant Nectar is contained within a violet miron glass bottle with a dropper pipette. The bottle is glass. The collar of the pipette mount is aluminum, the inlay is made of polypropylene plastic and the bulb is made of silicon rubber. In terms of recyclability, in the UK the glass bottle can be easily recycled with glass recycling.

We encourage you to reuse/repurpose the glass bottle before looking to recycle and find ways to give a new lease of life to these beautiful glass pieces.

Ingredients

Shamash Antioxidant Nectar contains upcycled strawberry seed oil. The seeds are a by-product of the fruit juice industry, thereby reducing food waste. The seeds are collected and pressed revealing a fresh and fruity aromatic oil.

Packaging Materials

Tissue Paper

We use acid-free tissue paper that is FSC-certified and printed with soy inks. Soy inks are an eco-friendly alternative to petroleum-based inks, made from soybeans, which are a renewable resource.

Postage Box

Our postage/shipping boxes contain a minimum of 60% recycled cardboard and can be easily recycled.

Packaging Tape

Our water-activated packaging tape is FSC-certified and acid-free and made from 100% recycled material. It is also printed with soy inks just like our tissue paper.

Card and Stickers

These are printed on 100% recycled card and paper stock. The printer is a planet friendly printing company who specialize in printing on recycled and sustainably sourced paper stock.

Packaging Peanuts

These are an environmentally friendly void fill packaging material. They are maize-based and fully compostable and 100% biodegradable. The product is fully soluble when saturated with water which keeps litter in check. Try it- take some in the palm of your hand and add some water and watch them dissolve! It is also made from an environmentally friendly manufacturing process and as a result uses less energy. Starch is also an annually renewable resource.
